About the role
Labor and Delivery Department nurse position located in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized obstetric care in a high-volume facility, supporting labor and delivery patients during day shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a labor and delivery setting and hold current certifications in BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate, with ACLS preferred.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, days
- Minimum of 48 hours per week
- Start date: 09/14/2026
- Staff may be required to float between nearby facilities based on skill set
- Must be flexible to work three of the five designated holidays and adhere to scheduling requests submitted upfront
Responsibilities
- Attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases
- Manage high-risk labor
- Administer blood/blood products
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of labor and delivery experience
- Active compact license
- Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to manage patient diagnoses including labor and preterm labor
- Experience with special procedures/unit capabilities such as cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, epidural and PCA pumps, wound vac, and medication management (e.g., Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate)
- Open to local candidates within 50 miles
- Must have valid compact license in hand at submission
- Must include responses to prior work at a Providence facility (if applicable)
- Submit 2 recent references covering at least one year within the last three years
