Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,816 per week

About the role

Apart from providing care and support for women during labor and childbirth, the Labor and Delivery Nurse also monitors mother and baby before, during, and after birth and assists throughout the process, including during delivery. This role requires special training and knowledge to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for mother and baby
• Monitor vital signs and fetal heart tones
• Administer medications as ordered
• Prepare for and assist with deliveries
• Provide postpartum care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Rhode Island RN license
• At least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
