Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,780 per week

About the Role

A Mother/Baby Couplet Care Registered Nurse is needed in Silver City, New Mexico. This position involves providing quality care to maternal and newborn patients in a maternal child health setting, including labor, delivery, and nursery care. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met through the nursing process, functioning primarily as a primary RN with potential for floated assignments to other hospital units.

Schedule

• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to maternal and newborn patients in labor, delivery, and nursery settings.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient needs through the nursing process.
• Function as a primary RN with potential floated assignments to other hospital units as directed by leadership.

Requirements

• Current New Mexico or Multi-State Nursing Licensure.
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) certification upon hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification upon hire.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Three years of experience in Nursery.
• Three years of experience in Medical Surgical (Med-Surg).

Preferred Qualifications

• STABLE certification.
• Baby Friendly experience.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
