Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,505 per week

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Chandler, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery Department. The RN will collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care throughout the childbirth process, utilizing professional nursing standards and clinical expertise.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Hours: Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of laboring patients
• Perform patient assessments and develop/update care plans
• Administer medications and support families through the childbirth process
• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment
• Collaborate with healthcare team members using effective communication and teamwork

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license for the state of practice, or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months
• Experience in Labor and Delivery or perinatal nursing (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Professional certification related to obstetrics or childbirth
