Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,505 per week
Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Lewiston, Maine. This position involves providing specialized obstetric care within a Level 3 Maternity unit. Candidates will be responsible for managing labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care, including supporting cesarean sections and postpartum procedures, in a high-acuity setting.
Schedule
- Nights shift
- 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 0 years of experience
- Certifications required: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and intermediate level training through the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) are preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal intensive care
- Able to manage a three-couplet assignment
- Familiarity with external fetal heart monitoring and postpartum care procedures
Unit Details
- Number of beds: 24
- Patient ratios: 1:6 (unit census varies from 3 to 24 patients)
- Equipment: Electronic Fetal Monitor (EFM), Intravenous Electronic Hardware Recorder (IVEHR), Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Powerchart, Omnicell Medication System
- Patient population: Neonates and adults
