Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is needed for a 12-week contract position in Kettering, Ohio. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers in a hospital setting. The position requires a dedicated professional with at least one year of L&D experience, ready to support the clinical team during day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers in a hospital setting.
- Float to antepartum and rarely to mother-baby units to care for postpartum mothers.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including AHA BLS, NIHSS, and NRP certifications, to provide safe and effective patient care.
Requirements
- Valid current license as a registered nurse.
- At least 2 years of experience as an RN.
- 1 year of experience in labor and delivery.
- Valid certification in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Schedule
- 12-week contract starting on 08/17/2026.
- Day shifts, 12 hours per shift.
- Minimum of 36 hours per week.
