Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,285 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Austin, Texas. The assignment is a 13‑week hospital contract requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM‑7:00 AM). The role involves caring for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including high‑risk OB cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, including high‑risk OB cases
• Assist with procedures such as C‑sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, twin deliveries, and emergent surgeries
• Monitor patients using advanced EFM and AWHONN Intermediate EFM certifications
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and management to ensure quality care

Requirements

• CST Certification
• At least 2 years experience in High Risk OB (preferably 3+ years)

Pay

Pay range: $2,186.32 – $2,295.64 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend to be determined).

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
