Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,285 per week

Labor and Delivery Nurse position in Michigan. This role involves collaborating with physicians to develop and implement care plans aimed at restoring patients to optimal health. The nurse will provide bedside care, execute medical orders, and oversee functions performed by various clinical support staff. The position requires working night shifts, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, care coordination, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care
• Develop and implement care plans aimed at restoring patients to optimal health
• Provide bedside care and execute medical orders
• Oversee functions performed by various clinical support staff
• Delegate and supervise support staff functions
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
• Monitor patients and coordinate care
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36.0 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Float rotation may be required

Required Qualifications

• State licensure in Michigan
• 2+ years of obstetric (OB) experience
• AWHONN certification within the last two years
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
