Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,285 per week
Job Summary
A Labor and Delivery Nurse position is available in Chandler, Arizona. The role involves caring for laboring and preterm pregnant patients in a Level II Enhanced Quality (EQ) facility that handles gestations of 28 weeks and greater. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position requires working night shifts and involves circulating and recovering C-section patients, with specific clinical skills and certifications.
Job Details
Location: Chandler, AZ
Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Four weekend shifts per schedule are required; the first to float; and hospital holidays coverage is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), ACLS
4 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
Licensed and willing to wait for licensure
Experience with C-sections and computer charting, preferably Cerner EMR
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center
Familiarity with Cerner EMR system

The unit staff strives to follow AWHONN guidelines and ratios, with staffing adjustments as needed.
The unit has 18 labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum (LDRP) beds, 14 OB triage beds, and 8 antepartum beds.
The facility is a Level II EQ and Level I Trauma Center, accepting gestations of 28 weeks and higher.
The unit employs Cerner as its charting system and Fetal Link for electronic fetal monitoring.
The floor specific orientation is one week, and candidates must participate in titrating drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate as per protocols.
