About the role
Labor and Delivery Department located in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing care for high-risk obstetric patients, including postpartum treatment following delivery. The position demands experience in high-risk obstetric care, with a focus on postpartum and labor and delivery procedures.
Schedule
12-hour shifts, starting on 09/14/2026 at 5:00 AM. Minimum of 36 hours per week. Must be flexible to work during select holidays and adhere to scheduled RTO requests.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-risk obstetric care, including postpartum treatment following delivery
- Administer magnesium sulfate therapy and Pitocin
- Manage Foley catheter procedures
- Handle postpartum hemorrhage and vaginal delivery procedures
- Float between sister facilities as required; refusal may result in contract termination
- Use EPIC electronic health record system
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in high-risk obstetric care
- Current Compact state RN license in hand at submission
- Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Two recent professional references covering 1 year of work experience
- Must disclose any prior employment at a Providence facility (permanent, traveler, or registry/per-diem), including location and dates
- Do not contact facility directly unless for scheduled interviews
