Travel Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of obstetric procedures, neonatal care, and the ability to respond efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Schedule

• Days shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Weekend availability required to meet unit staffing needs

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Perform infant assessments and neonatal procedures (thermoregulation, phototherapy, hypoglycemia management)
• Float to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Labor and Delivery units as needed
• Use electronic charting systems, particularly Epic

Requirements

• Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Valid state RN license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
