The Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse position is located in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the IR unit, supporting a busy trauma and neuro-interventional environment. The position offers a day shift schedule, with responsibilities including assisting with all IR procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Job Details

• Location: Richmond, VA

• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

• ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification

• Virginia state nursing license

• At least 0 years of relevant experience in interventional radiology or neuro and trauma care

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 320

• Staffing: 4 technologists, 4 registered nurses, 1 scheduler

• Equipment: GE and Philips imaging devices

• Documentation System: Expanse

• Procedures Performed: All interventional radiology procedures including neuro and trauma interventions

• Dress Code: Scrubs provided

Additional Information

• Experience with IR/neuro and trauma procedures strongly preferred

• No float rotation required
