Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology - $3,460 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. As a member of their team, you'll provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures in the IR lab, performing comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, educating patients, administering and monitoring sedation, and providing post-procedure recovery care.

Requirements

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification
• PALS or ENPC certifications (preferred)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• RCIS/RCES certification (preferred)

Qualifications

• Preferably PALS or ENPC certifications
• RCIS/RCES certification preferred
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Essential Work Functions

• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, including reviewing medical history and lab results
• Education patients and families about IR procedures, sedation, and post-procedure care
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, medications, and procedural details
• Collaborate with IR technologists, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
