Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology - $2,965 per week

Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology RN will provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing invasive interventional procedures, including angiography, embolization, and cardiac catheterization. This role involves working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing;
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon;
• Certified BLS and ACLS;
• At least one year of experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or IR;
• Ability to work days shift for 8 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Interventional Radiology or Catheterization Laboratory settings;
• Additional certifications such as RCIS or NIH Stroke Scale;
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) communication skills preferred.

Additional Information

• The RN may be on call for the Interventional Unit as necessary.
• Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with procedures, monitoring patient vital signs, maintaining sterile technique, and coordinating with the team to manage contrast allergies and other clinical considerations.
• The role also involves room turnover, managing supplies, and ensuring equipment readiness.
