About the role
Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the interventional radiology department, primarily during day shifts. The assignment offers guaranteed hours and requires call responsibilities. The position is within an acute care, Level 1 Trauma environment with charting in EPIC. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment or 3 shifts if the assignment is shorter.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in interventional radiology
- Participate in call responsibilities
- Pass an open-book skills exam during orientation with a 90% passing score
Requirements
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related clinical setting
- Valid driver’s license
- Licensure to submit
- Must reside within 50 miles of the assignment location
- No artificial nails in patient care areas

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
