Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,275 per week

About the role

This role involves providing specialized patient care within the IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit), with a focus on trauma and acuity level patients including neuro, CVA, and post-surgical cases. The position is a night shift, starting September 21, 2026, with an end date of December 19, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care within the Intermediate Care Unit
• Care for patients with trauma and acuity level conditions including neuro, CVA, and post-surgical cases
• Work 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Take charge responsibility as required with appropriate pay differential and training
• Work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year's Day)
• Adhere to all clinical and operational standards for patient care
• Care for a patient population that includes a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and CVA patients

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact License required upon start
• 2+ years of experience in IMCU or related units
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions
• Submission requirements include work history with at least 2 years minimum experience, explanation of all work gaps over 90 days, Skills Checklist, and a copy of Nursys/license
• Orientation occurs every other Monday, unless otherwise posted
• Client can cancel up to 36 hours prior due to census fluctuations
