Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,268 per week

- Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Schedule runs in 6-week increments
- Weekend rotation every other weekend
- Holiday rotation every other holiday
- No on-call responsibilities
- Minimum 4 years of experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Patient ratios of 1:1-2, or 1:3 for mixed acuity status
- Care for neurological patients including ischemic strokes, hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, spinal surgeries, brain mass resections/biopsies, and other neurocritical conditions
- Also manage medical respiratory overflow and general medical ICU overflow patients
- Required skills include ventilator management, tracheostomy care, arterial lines, vasopressor and sedation management, and central line blood draws
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Preferred skills include CVVH/CRRT and EVD management
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Equipment used includes Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, GE monitors, and Medtronic EVDs
- May float to ED Holding (1:3-4), other ICUs (MRICU, SICU, CICU, CVICU), medical surgical unit (1:3), sitter assignments, or PACU Surge (1:3-4)
- Scrub color must be any solid color with no graphics, logos, or designs
- Cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts per fatigue policy

The ICU unit operates with robust support including CNAs, Charge RNs, Critical Care NPs, Intensivists available 24/7, Hospitalists, Respiratory Therapists, and Phlebotomy services, fostering a culture of strong teamwork and evidence-based nursing practice.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
