Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,268 per week

- Work in a lower acuity ICU setting treating general ICU, stroke (TNK), medical, surgical, behavioral health, overdose, post cardiac arrest, and ventilator patients
- Patient ratio of 1:2-3 for both day and night shifts based on acuity
- Weekend rotation every other weekend
- On-call schedule varies based on unit needs
- Holiday expectations vary based on unit needs
- 2-3 years of ICU experience required
- First-time travelers considered upon review
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Required skills include reading and interpreting strips, ventilator management, chest tubes, tracheostomies, line management, and proning experience
- Must be proficient with bedside and nursing station telemonitoring (no tele tech in the ICU)
- Charting system: EPIC
- Equipment used: Alaris and Pyxis
- Must be comfortable floating to the Cardiac unit
- One orientation shift provided to learn unit flow
- Scrub color: Any professional scrubs
- Free parking available for employees in designated areas
About the Role
This facility is a 101-bed Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The ICU consists of 11 beds and is supported by a robust team including CNAs, phlebotomy services, an IV/VAT team available during day shifts, respiratory therapy available 24/7, hospitalist coverage 24/7, an ICU educator, and an intensivist on-site from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with eICU coverage overnight.

Pay
