About the role
iDEAL HIRE is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 14-week assignment in Olathe, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in an ICU setting
- Perform procedures such as BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing their own labs
- Comfortable without a vascular access team, calling on own consults, and conducting own codes
- Preferred: Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires
Requirements
- 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience
- Strong critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
Skills
- Proven experience in ICU settings
- Ability to perform complex patient care tasks independently
