Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,267 per week

Travel nurse RN position in the ICU - Intensive Care Unit (Burn ICU) at Research Medical Center, 2316 E. Meyer Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64132. Start date: 10/12/2026; duration: 13 weeks; employment type: travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 6‑bed adult burn ICU with patient ratios varying by acuity.
• Work with charge nurse, RNs, nurse externs, and paramedics.
• Utilize equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Hill‑Rom beds, call light system, and GE cardiac monitoring.
• Document using Meditech.
• Adhere to bedside shift‑report requirements and uphold the hospital’s mission of courtesy and respect.
• Follow floating policy to like units (ICU/PCU/CCU) as needed, with agency staff floated first.

Requirements

• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certification required.
• NIH certification preferred (not required).
• ABLS certification preferred (not required).
• Experience with ICU level of care; burn experience preferred.
• Cardiac rhythm proficiency required.

Skills

Schedule
