About the role
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced patient care in an acute care setting, with responsibilities including collaboration with medical teams and ensuring patient safety. The position requires adaptability to various acuity levels and the ability to float within designated zones.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced patient care in an ICU setting
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure patient safety
- Adapt to various acuity levels
- Float within designated zones as required (zone 2 locations covering a 60-mile radius from the zone's city center, with paid travel time for floating to other locations)
Requirements
- Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Valid nursing license
- Must be in state for the week of orientation, even if remote
Schedule
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum 36 hours per week
- Assignment dates: 09/14/2026 to 12/28/2026
- Hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
