About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, at Grand Island, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care in an ICU setting
  • Assess and document patient conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintain sterile environments and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations

Requirements

  • 2 years of recent experience in ICU
  • Current BLS certification (certifications vary by location)
  • Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
  • Valid driver's license
  • Background check and drug screen required

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in state of practice

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
