Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift located in a rural/suburban healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to facility protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in an ICU setting
Manage patients with diagnoses such as DKA, STEMI, CVA, and respiratory failure
Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), arterial lines, and CPAP
Adhere to facility protocols and maintain 1:6 patient ratios depending on patient condition
Possible float to Medical Surgical department if ICU is closed for shift

Requirements

Valid Pennsylvania Nursing License
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Willingness to complete state and federal background checks and fingerprinting prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
Familiarity with vent management, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), arterial lines, CPAP equipment

Schedule

Night shift, 12-hour shifts
Minimum of 36 hours per week
Assignment duration: 13 weeks (September 14, 2026 – December 14, 2026)
