Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift located in a rural/suburban healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to facility protocols and standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in an ICU setting
- Manage patients with diagnoses such as DKA, STEMI, CVA, and respiratory failure
- Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), arterial lines, and CPAP
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain 1:6 patient ratios depending on patient condition
- Possible float to Medical Surgical department if ICU is closed for shift
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania Nursing License
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Willingness to complete state and federal background checks and fingerprinting prior to start
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Familiarity with vent management, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), arterial lines, CPAP equipment
Schedule
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks (September 14, 2026 – December 14, 2026)
