This role involves providing advanced patient care for critically ill patients experiencing severe medical issues such as heart attack, stroke, or trauma. The position requires working closely with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety, utilize advanced life support procedures, and support patient families through education and emotional support. Job Details Position Description: Critical care registered nurses assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, treat wounds, provide advanced life support, assist physicians during procedures, monitor and record vital signs, ensure proper functioning of ventilators and monitors, administer intravenous fluids and medications, and collaborate with other healthcare team members. They respond to urgent situations using established nursing protocols and advocate for patients throughout their care process. Required Qualifications: WY Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state RN license, 2 years recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting, ACLS, BLS, and PALS/ENPC (preferred but not required) certifications through the American Heart Association. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Candidates may be responsible for caring for pediatric and adolescent patients occasionally. Float rotation may be required depending on facility census. Candidates must have the SageWest coversheet attached to the submission.
