The role involves managing ventilators, telemetry monitoring, insulin drips, and responding quickly to changes in patient conditions. The position emphasizes effective communication with physicians and coworkers, as well as assessment and care of diverse patient populations, including pediatric, geriatric, and general patients. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current Colorado Registered Nurse license; current BLS certification; current ACLS certification; PALS certification; successful completion of arrhythmia competency; 0 years of experience required. Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Responsibilities: Providing patient care in the ICU, performing head-to-toe assessments, revising care plans based on patient response, educating patients and families, monitoring cardiac rhythms, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Skills: Basic computer knowledge; ability to communicate effectively in English; ability to perform treatments and operate equipment safely. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Regular standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, climbing, stooping, and occasional sitting. Must lift up to 25 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally. Work involves exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise.
