Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,065 per week

About the role

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) needed to provide direct and indirect patient care in the ICU setting. The role involves managing ventilators, telemetry monitoring, insulin drips, and responding quickly to changes in patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments
• Revise care plans based on patient response
• Educate patients and families
• Monitor cardiac rhythms
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient care
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Successful completion of arrhythmia competency

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Hours per week: Minimum 36 hours
• Duration: 13 weeks

Skills

• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to perform treatments and operate equipment safely

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regular standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, climbing, stooping, and occasional sitting
• Must lift up to 25 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise
