Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,065 per week

Job Summary

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Saint Albans, Vermont. This role involves providing critical care in a progressive care unit with a focus on step-down patients. The RN will be responsible for caring for vented patients, managing cardiac and insulin drips, responding to rapid response and code blue events, and assisting in interpreting tele rhythm strips. Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Location: Saint Albans, Vermont
• Schedule: Days; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week, every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Vermont Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• 3-4 years Critical Care experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience responding to Rapid Response and Code Blue events
• Proficiency in interpreting tele rhythm strips
• Ability to care for vented patients with respiratory therapy support
• Handling basic cardiac drips and insulin protocols for diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) patients
