Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit
• Handle complex procedures

• Perform procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification
• Ability to perform procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• At least 1 year of ICU experience
• Critical thinking skills
• Self-motivated

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with advanced monitoring equipment such as Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Team player with excellent communication skills
