Travel Nurse RN - GI Lab - $1,995 per week
Job Summary
Gastroenterology Laboratory Specialist Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position involves assisting nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures, including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations. The role requires disinfecting and troubleshooting endoscopic equipment, setting up rooms, transporting patients, stocking supplies, and assisting with patient ambulation and monitoring.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 10-hour shifts per week with rotating call.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent;
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association;
- Registered with DORA as a Colorado Surgical Technologist;
- Completion of Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program;
- Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification;
- Two years of specialized endoscopy experience, including advanced case procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assisting with high-level, complex endoscopic cases;
- Strong troubleshooting skills with endoscopic equipment.
