Travel GI Lab Registered Nurse - $1,990 per week

Job Summary

The role involves supporting high-volume endoscopy procedures and assisting physicians during GI and endoscopy operations in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• 8-hour day shift
• Start times flexible between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
• Estimated 36-40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois license
• CPR certification
• ACLS certification
• Epic electronic health record experience
• 2+ years of experience in GI Laboratory, Endoscopy PACU, or Telemetry Admission and recovery
• Candidate must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher on the first day

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GI procedures using Olympus scopes
• Familiarity with endoscopy supplies from well-known manufacturers
• Experience in preoperative and postoperative care

Additional Information

• The role involves assisting during approximately 30-60 cases per day in a busy procedural environment
• Skills include working with Olympus scopes and endoscopy supplies
• Epic experience is highly preferred
• Candidates should be prepared for potential floating to other local facilities such as Skokie, Evanston, or Glenbrook
• No weekend work is required, and holidays are observed with no guaranteed hours during those weeks
• Orientation is scheduled for Mondays, and all credentials must be submitted by Thursday prior to start date

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
