Job Summary
The role involves supporting high-volume endoscopy procedures and assisting physicians during GI and endoscopy operations in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- 8-hour day shift
- Start times flexible between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
- Estimated 36-40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois license
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- Epic electronic health record experience
- 2+ years of experience in GI Laboratory, Endoscopy PACU, or Telemetry Admission and recovery
- Candidate must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher on the first day
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GI procedures using Olympus scopes
- Familiarity with endoscopy supplies from well-known manufacturers
- Experience in preoperative and postoperative care
Additional Information
- The role involves assisting during approximately 30-60 cases per day in a busy procedural environment
- Skills include working with Olympus scopes and endoscopy supplies
- Epic experience is highly preferred
- Candidates should be prepared for potential floating to other local facilities such as Skokie, Evanston, or Glenbrook
- No weekend work is required, and holidays are observed with no guaranteed hours during those weeks
- Orientation is scheduled for Mondays, and all credentials must be submitted by Thursday prior to start date

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
