About the role
The labor and delivery float registered nurse position is located in Mayfield, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized inpatient care to obstetric, neonatal, gynecological, and maternity patients. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the department's varied clinical services.
The hospital is a 107-bed acute care facility offering inpatient and outpatient services, with a focus on OB, neonatal, gynecological procedures, and maternity care. Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must be located at least 60 miles from the facility.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN in Kentucky
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS
- At least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- OB/L&D experience
- Charge nurse experience
