Unit: Maternal Infant Unit, Floor 3 – Atrium
Beds: 24
EMR: Meditech / CPN
Patient ratios
- Labor: Typically 1:1
- Postpartum: 1:5–6
- Nursery: 1:5–6
Required experience
- At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Comfortable caring for:
- Laboring patients
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- Antepartum patients
- Postpartum mothers
- Newborns
Preferred experience
- 2+ years L&D experience
- Prior experience in a high-volume LDRP environment
Required certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
Unit support
Typical staffing includes Labor RN, Nursery RN, OB Tech, Unit Secretary, and Leadership/Educator support on days.
