Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,774 per week

Equiliem is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a 13-week assignment in Rochester, New York. This position involves 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts, including on-call requirements for overnights and weekends. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with options for 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns
• Observing patient vital signs
• Sedating patients before procedures
• Recovering patients after procedures
• Administering necessary medication to patients
• Completing all necessary documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents
• Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use
• Providing assistance to doctors throughout the procedure
• Administering IV drips
• Performing telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification
• Administering conscious sedation
• Expert IV insertion
• Recovering patients from general anesthesia
• Performing intake for GI procedures

Requirements

• Active New York RN license (NY license ONLY)
• BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
• ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
• 2 years of previous endoscopy procedure experience

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week. Schedule options: 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. On-call required for overnights and weekends.
