About the role
The healthcare provider is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for a travel assignment at a hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This position involves working in the endoscopy unit, performing procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, and bronchoscopies. The role requires a flexible schedule with day shifts, on-call coverage during evenings and weekends, and a minimum of one year of relevant experience in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, and EBUS
- Maintain and reprocess endoscopy equipment (Olympus, Medivators, Steris, Conmed, ERBE, Boston Scientific devices)
- Perform leak testing and adhere to hospital policies for equipment maintenance
- Provide procedure assistance and support in a hospital endoscopy setting
- Participate in float rotation if unit volume is light
- Follow hospital dress code: wear provided scrubs and closed-toe shoes
Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER)
- At least 1 year of hospital experience in an endoscopy setting
- Familiarity with Olympus Endoscopes, Medivators, leak testing, and knowledge of colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopes, and EUS procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Bravo placements, HET, TIF, and EBUS procedures
- Advanced skills in endoscope reprocessing and procedure assistance

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
