Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,316 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment in Midlothian, Virginia.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of 08/24/2026. The schedule is 40 hours per week, consisting of 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment and data collection in an ongoing, systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychobiologic, and cognitive needs of the patient and family.
• Utilize assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practices.
• Maintain personal contact with patients and relatives, ensuring their needs for courtesy, dignity, and privacy are met in a friendly environment.
• Store, check, and administer medication in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Maintain timely and accurate nursing records while respecting confidentiality.
• Work with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, patient admission, recovery, and other related procedures.

Endoscopy Nurses (RN) are expected to have expertise in endoscopy, including understanding physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopy procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Endoscopy setting.
