About the role
A reputable healthcare organization in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Gastrointestinal (GI) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) with at least two years of clinical experience. This role involves rotating day shifts based on caseload, with additional call responsibilities discussed at interview.
Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Float rotation may be required
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care in a high-volume endoscopy setting
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Connecticut licensure or eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years experience in gastrointestinal and perioperative nursing
- Certifications consistent with gastrointestinal and perioperative nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in endoscopy procedures and PACU
- Additional specialized certifications
