1-2 years recent acute care experience
ACLS, BLS
Responsibilities
Ensure a high standard of nursing care to patients attending the Endoscopy Unit
Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures
Participate in the care and maintenance of endoscopes and other specialized equipment
Maintain a safe and clean environment within the clinical area
Stand and walk for long periods of time
Bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
Lift up to 20 pounds
Lift up to 50 pounds at times
Face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases
Qualifications
Endoscopy RN with expertise in Endoscopy
Understanding in physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopy procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia
Skills
Expertise in Endoscopy
Understanding of physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopy procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia
