HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Independence, Missouri. Start date: October 26, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel. Hours: 48 hours per week.

Schedule

12‑hour shifts available days, evenings, and nights. Specific shift times: 7a‑7p, 10a‑10p, 12p‑12a, 1p‑1a, 2p‑2a, 3p‑3a, 6p‑6a, 7p‑7a.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 40+ bed Emergency Department with 120+ staff.
• Day shift staff includes CNC, Team leads, RN, Advanced Paramedic, EDT, MHSC, Secretary.
• Night shift staff includes CNC, Team leads, RN, Advanced Paramedic, EDT, MHSC, Secretary.
• Maintain patient ratio of 4:1 (3 rooms and 1 hall bed in high volume).
• Use equipment such as cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, Lifepak, etc.
• Document using Meditech EMR.

Requirements

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED).
• Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications.

Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR.
• Proficiency with cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, Lifepak.
• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights).
