Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,985 per week

About the role

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Nights position in Lynchburg, Virginia, providing comprehensive emergency care in a busy hospital setting during night shifts, with a focus on patient safety and quality care per facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care in a busy ED setting
• Ensure patient safety and deliver quality care during night shifts
• Adhere to facility protocols and standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a trauma level 1 or 2 facility
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• Active VA or compact nursing license at time of submission
• Prior travel experience required for all Central positions
• Must obtain IVS (Internal Verification System) approval for consideration
• Must work every other weekend
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted
• Availability to work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day)
• Understanding that assignments can be extended up to 20 weeks for holiday coverage
• Client may cancel assignment up to 36 hours prior due to census

Skills

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum hours: 48 hours per week
• Orientation dates: October 5, 2026; October 19, 2026; November 2, 2026 (every other week on Mondays, unless posted otherwise)
