Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the emergency care spectrum.
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered.
- Assist with emergency procedures and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification required.
- TNCC certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Assignment Details
- 12-hour shifts.
- 36 hours per week.
- Every other weekend.
