Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,340 per week
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Iowa City, Iowa. This role involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, with a schedule consisting of night shifts. The position requires patient-centered care delivery, adherence to clinical standards, and collaboration within a dynamic healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergent and urgent care in the emergency department
- Perform patient assessments and administer treatments
- Monitor patients in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team
Requirements
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and Mandatory Reporter Certification
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced emergency department (preferred)
- Charge experience at a Level 3 facility (preferred)
- Triage experience (preferred)
Schedule
- 13 weeks duration
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
- Rotating weekends and holidays (as needed)
- Start date: 09/14/2026
