Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time travel assignment involves providing high-quality patient care during night shifts, with duties focused on coordination and implementation of individualized care plans for a diverse patient population.

About the role

13-week travel nursing assignment starting 08/24/2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document initial patient assessments
  • Develop and modify personalized care plans
  • Perform point-of-care testing
  • Coordinate patient and team activities
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning
  • Contribute to a positive work environment
  • Provide respectful, compassionate, and clear communication to patients, families, and team members
  • Assist during low census with float as needed
  • Participate in unit growth and development initiatives
  • Adhere to all safety and organizational policies
  • Maintain positive attendance and professional growth

Requirements

  • Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or a valid Compact state license
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association
  • PALS Certification from the American Heart Association
  • TNCC Certification or ATCN Certification
  • Ability to start by 08/24/2026

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPI or an equivalent certification
