Travel nursing assignment at Trident MC – Long Point FSED, a freestanding emergency department located at 645 Long Point Road, Charleston, South Carolina.
Unit Specifics
- Number of Beds: 11
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Unit staffing: 2 RNs day shift, 2 RNs mid shift; techs added as needed for volume
- Equipment: Carescape B450 cardiac monitors, Panda Warmer, Lifepak 15, Maquet Servo-s Mobilab, Teladoc for Neuro and behavioral health consults, Mac5500HD EKG, Pyxis
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling: 3 × 12-hour shifts weekly with every-other-weekend requirement
- Floating policy: Float as needed to other FSED units in the area
- Patient Experience: Communicates and obtains information while respecting rights and confidentiality; use of AIDET
Hospital Requirements
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CPI
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of ED experience
