Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,130 per week
Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Spokane, Washington. This position involves working in a high-acuity, Level II Trauma Center with a patient population primarily over 18 years of age, and trauma patients aged 15 and up. The role requires float between units and working in emergency department holding, supporting a fast-paced environment with diverse clinical responsibilities.
Schedule
- Rotating shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
- Weekend coverage every other weekend
- All scheduling and time-off requests must be coordinated upfront during submission
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of ER experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
- Charting experience in Epic electronic medical record system
- Prior community hospital experience
- Trauma level II experience
Special Requirements
- Functional knowledge of Triage
- Level I Trauma Center procedures
- Management of dysrhythmias
- ICP monitoring
- Continuous IV sedation
Additional Information
The ER is a high-acuity regional referral center for trauma, cardiac, and stroke care, with an average daily census of 175 visits, 50 patient rooms, and access to specialized equipment such as Level I Rapid Infuser, Zoll defibrillators, and Phillips monitors. Clinicians may be required to work in emergency department holding and may float between units or sister facilities.
