MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse for an assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of 08/24/2026. The schedule is 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues to treat urgent medical conditions.
Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

Active RN License.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required in some positions.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
