Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,130 per week

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse opportunity located in Olympia, Washington. This position involves providing care for a diverse patient population, from neonates to geriatrics, across a range of acuities from clinic to critical. The role requires a proactive, skilled ER nurse capable of managing complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: Olympia, WA
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Orientation: Four hours of orientation with the clinical educator, followed by 2-3 shifts on the unit; preceptorship for approximately 2-3 weeks before working independently

Requirements

• Licensure in Registered Nursing (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• CPI or MOAB training (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years ER experience
• Location in Washington state preferred

Support on the Unit

• Two CNAs/technicians from 7 am to 7 pm, additional techs at 11 am and 3 pm, overnight tech
• Support staff available from 9 am to 9 pm most days
• Resource nurse coverage from 9 am to 9 pm
• No dedicated receptionists or charge nurses
• Telemetry monitoring available at bedside and nurses station
• Support services include phlebotomy and lab draws

Technology/Equipment

• EMR system: EPIC
• IV pumps: Alaris
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• Monitors: GEF and bedside telemetry monitoring
