About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Newburgh, Indiana. This is a 13-week contract with a start date of 08/24/2026, requiring 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a). The position requires working every weekend (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday) and every other holiday. Candidates must be willing to work within a 40-mile radius of Newburgh, IN.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a Level II Trauma Emergency Department
- Demonstrate proficiency in 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia interpretation (exam required)
- Utilize Epic charting system (required experience within the last year)
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage change effectively
Requirements
- Active IN or Compact State RN license
- Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Room experience
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Ability to pass a 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia exam
- Epic charting experience within the last year
- Preferred: Pediatric experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and resilience
