Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,130 per week

About the role

Emergency Room (ER) nurse positions are available in the region. These roles involve providing high-acuity care in a busy, designated Level I Trauma Center equipped with advanced protocols and specialized teams. The position requires clinicians to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, supporting critically ill and injured patients across diverse age groups.

Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Assignment spans from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027
• Orientation of 20 hours

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Two (2) years of recent Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
• Epic electronic health record experience
• WI RN or Compact RN license
• BLS, PALS, ACLS from the American Heart Association
• TNCC certification
• Pass Telemetry test prior to start

Preferred qualifications

• Inpatient RN experience with high-acuity ED populations

Additional information

• Float rotation may be required
• The ER provides comprehensive, high-acuity care with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support
• The department handles a daily census of approximately 200 visits and features 67 patient rooms
• Clinicians will deliver urgent and emergent care for neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with a focus on trauma, stroke, cardiac, and complex critical cases
• Candidates must successfully pass a strict pass/fail telemetry examination in adult and pediatric formats
