Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,075 per week

About the role

Emergency Room (ER) nursing position located at a satellite healthcare facility. This role involves providing acute emergency care across multiple satellite locations with scheduled floating to various campuses. The position requires adaptability to different clinical environments and adherence to strict protocols to ensure patient safety and care quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute emergency care across multiple satellite ER locations.
• Float to various campuses (Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, Surprise) based on scheduled assignments.
• Work in a high‑volume, high‑acuity trauma setting with a 4:1 patient‑to‑nurse ratio.
• Adapt to different clinical environments and adhere to hospital protocols, sterile procedures, and patient safety standards.
• Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (maximum two attempts).
• Complete a pass/fail SIMs lab for skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes (exceptions for specific units).
• Participate in campus‑specific orientation covering lifts, restraints, and wound care.
• Assignment runs from 10/19/2026 through 01/18/2027.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training.

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts.
• Minimum 36 hours per week.
• Shifts scheduled in advance.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
