The role requires flexibility to work some weekends and call, with an emphasis on recent cardiac (open heart) experience and multi-specialty surgical support. Job Details Position Description: Operating Room - Cardiovascular (CVOR) RN for a 13-week assignment, starting 10/26/2026, with end date 01/23/2027. Required Qualifications: Active Florida or Compact registered nurse license, 2 years of RN experience, recent cardiac (open heart) surgery experience, at least 1 year at a Level 1 trauma or academic medical institution. BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required. Schedule: 10-hour days, shifts from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: Must pass basic specialty competency exam including EKG interpretation with at least 80% score; lethal rhythms identification essential. Experience with cardiac, neuro, orthopedic trauma, and vascular cases preferred. Ability to scrub and circulate is desirable. Flexibility to work some weekends and on-call shifts is required. Submission Requirements: No gaps in work history over 30 days with documented explanations; resume must include facility type, EMR, and bed count; at least one professional reference within the last 12 months; maximum of 8 RTO days for the 13-week contract.
