Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,399 per week
Job Description & Requirements
Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment in Corpus Christi, Texas. The position starts immediately and requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.
- One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification preferred

Essential Work Functions
The CVOR registered nurse is responsible for:
- Maintaining proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Preparing the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and surgical procedure
- Assembling equipment, supplies, medications, and implants
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team
- Utilizing data from surgical preference cards for the surgical procedure
- Positioning and draping patients safely
- Coordinating post-surgical care
- Auditing and evaluating nursing care
- Responding to emergencies during surgery
